The Bell Hotel, which is owned by JD Wetherspoon, could be open half an hour later between Sundays and Thursdays and for an extra hour on Fridays and Saturdays.

According to the planning papers, the management policies at the pub would ensure "there will be no negative impact on the area as a result of the later opening times".
