Plans for warehouses near city's airport get the greenlight
The units will be built on land south of Hurricane Way, which is at the Norwich Airport Industrial Estate.
Norwich City Council approved the plans, which were submitted in four separate applications, calling the designs acceptable.
One of buildings - known as unit four - is the largest of the buildings, measuring 11 metres high, while the other ones will be built alongside.
In their report, planners wrote: "The proposed significant footprint and hard surfacing stand out, though the built form is positioned further from the residential area to south in comparison to the other proposed units."
They added: "Overall, the design is considered in keeping with the character of the surrounding industrial area, where there are several similar buildings. The scale, siting, materials and appearance of the proposal would be acceptable."
The applicant now has three years to begin work on building the warehouses before the council's planning permission expires.
