Calls for £5m from sidelined road scheme to be spent on roundabout for Norfolk town
Campaigners who want to see a roundabout at the junction where the A148 Holt Road turns off to Holway Road in Sheringham are hoping they can benefit from the pausing of another Norfolk road scheme.
Earlier this year, it emerged Norfolk County Council, under Conservative control at the time, was preparing to lodge a planning application for a new three-arm roundabout at the road into Sheringham.

Plans have yet to be lodged, but North Norfolk MP Steffan Aquarone wants the county council - now controlled by Reform following May's elections - to look into whether money removed from another road scheme could instead go towards that scheme.
