Call for review and potential rethink over 'sodding waste of money' cycle lanes
The new lanes in Jellicoe Road in Great Yarmouth and Middleton Road in Gorleston were completed by Norfolk County Council earlier this year, but have attracted criticism.
The schemes, which cost almost £1.5m in total and also included new crossings, were funded by the government's Active Travel Fund, with council officials saying they would make cycling and walking safer.
But the schemes have come under fire, with Great Yarmouth's MP Rupert Lowe branding the one in Gorleston a "complete sodding waste of money".
They will come under the spotlight at the next meeting of Norfolk County Council.
