Humphrey Mills, of Walnut Farm at Steeple Bumpstead, near Haverhill, was crowned the winner of this year’s FWAG (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group) East Farm Conservation Award.

Judges were particularly impressed by his "thoughtful integration of the ecological principles of land management and food production".
