Prince Harry and Meghan are reportedly set to move later this month and will settle in a non-royal property in an as-yet undiclosed location outside of London, with the Cotswolds and Althorp in Northamptonshire being suggested as possible destinations.

Harry remains estranged from his brother Prince William, who has a home at Anmer on the King's Sandringham Estate with his wife Princess Kate.

Their relationship has remained strained since the Sussexes stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and issued a series of public criticisms of the royal family.

Peter Hunt, a former BBC royal correspondent, said: "In the long term, the return of the Sussexes to the UK opens up the prospect of two rival courts, William’s and Harry’s.
