Norfolk stone used to build King's retreat could run out unless quarry can expand
Minerals supplier Mick George is asked Sedgeford Parish Council to support its plans to expand its workings where carrstone is dug beside the A149 between Snettisham and Heacham.
Its minutes say the council has been contacted by planning consultants representing the company which describes itself as the only supplier of carrstone, which is "west Norfolk’s most important local building stone".
