Remember the Department of Government Efficiency, a.k.a DOGE? A little federal agency run by Elon Musk? Made big claims about how it was going to save the government trillions of dollars yet turned out to be an unmitigated disaster that cost taxpayers money, ruined lives, and may have actually killed people? That kind of failure would typically mar a person’s résumé and make finding future employment difficult. But in Musk’s case, it’s resulted in him receiving a follow-up gig with the federal government.
