I can understand if some fanbases want Davis Alexander to finally be taken off the top of the podium.
Davis is currently fourth in total passing yardage and was not exactly spectacular in the Montreal Alouettes' 37-25 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Week 16. His second touchdown of the night was a centre screen to the game’s best wide receiver, Tyson Philpot.
However, Davis has managed to find that extremely difficult balance between making big plays while avoiding critical mistakes. No starter has fewer interceptions or has taken fewer sacks. The leader of the best team in the CFL stays on top. To the victor goes the spoils.
