It’s no wonder Calgary Mayor Jeromy Farkas keeps repeating the word bull—- on social media and to the press on Thursday.

How do I know? The man who demanded straight answers as a member of city council can’t give a straight answer now that he is the mayor.

On Thursday, Farkas is faced with Calgarians knowing about ugly possible property tax increases when Landon Johnston, a rookie councillor, decides to go public with city hall’s dirty little secret.

City paper shufflers would like a 20.2 per cent property tax hike next year. You read it right.

The city council majority wants the city hall brass to come up with a 15 per cent property tax hike the politicians can chew over.

That 15 per cent tax hike is way over the top. It is reported Farkas voted with the spend-happy majority.

There are also big property tax hikes on the table for 2028, 2029 and 2030.

This stuff all happens behind closed doors in a room Farkas once condemned as the Chamber of Secrets.

Anyway, Farkas hits the roof when the nasty news hits the street, runs to social media, potty mouth at the ready.

The mayor slams Johnston as “a rage-farming city politician.”

NOTE: Any time the lefties are attacked for some stupidity they accuse their opponents of rage-farming the masses.
