Bella Italia thought the World Cup hype was the perfect opportunity to encourage subscribers to head into their nearest restaurant for lunch. Their email even took a fun twist on a promotion by using location targeting to calculate the distance between the event in Russia and each recipient’s preferred Bella Italia restaurant. They even closed out the email by offering a delivery deal for those who (understandably) don’t want to risk missing a minute of the action by leaving the sofa.
