AAA Gas Check: Holiday season delivers lower Arizona gas prices |
The holiday season is delivering cheaper gas prices for Arizona as travelers hit the road in record numbers. Drivers across the state will find an average price of $3.13, a decrease of 7 cents from last week.
The national average dropped more than 4 cents since last week to $2.89. This is the cheapest December at the pump since the end of 2020. Crude oil prices remain low, and despite an increase in gasoline demand over the holidays, supply is strong. Overall, 2025 has been a stable year for the national average with few fluctuations and no sharp spikes.
