FATAH: Don’t understand cricket? Ask Sir John A. Macdonald

While the crowds at Toronto’s Jurassic Park are a good gauge of the enthusiasm of seeing world-class basketball as the Raptors face the Golden State Warriors, there was almost no measure to reflect the many Canadians watching the Cricket World Cup currently underway in England.

None of the newspapers or the networks, including the national broadcaster CBC or the many channels dedicated to sports, have anyone reporting on the many matches played so far, including some scintillating games where Pakistan defeated favoured England while Bangladesh gave a drubbing to South Africa.
