The first time I went to college, I didn’t graduate.

The second time I went to college – and finished, albeit with a different degree than I expected – I graduated into a worldwide pandemic that was driving one of the worst job markets since the Great Recession. (Which, coincidentally, was when my partner graduated from college and when I started my freshman year. When I say millennials have been through it, I mean it.)

To the Class of 2026, welcome to the worst job market in years. Hiring has shrank. Available positions have dwindled. And if........
