Longevity is one of the hottest spaces in healthcare right now. Venture capital firms, prominent investors and A-list celebrities have collectively poured billions into the dozens of startups and public companies using cutting-edge science and technology to prolong youth and extend life.

The catchall category now includes clinics featuring full-body MRIs, subscription-based biomarker testing designed to sniff out disease risk, biotech companies seeking to reverse aging through cellular rejuvenation and transfusion services offering plasma exchanges and (literally) young blood. Some of these direct-to-consumer services have waitlists of 100,000 people or more.
