We make sense of the world through many forms of storytelling, and movies and TV are some of the most influential. Across our screens, we see not only who we are, but who we may become.
That dynamic between everyday experience and aspiration is something I have always found compelling. When a movie or TV show resonates, it holds the potential to become highly effective social commentary: a catalyst for empathy, understanding and even action – meaning positive change is often closer than we think. Sometimes, it’s just a story away.
