The mainstream media is full of itself, as a general rule, but perhaps the most fascinating part is in how they not just don't admit they made mistakes, but manage to turn those mistakes into seeming victories.

For example, we spent four years seeing that we had a potato in the Oval Office. We all saw it when he couldn't find his way off of a stage, or when he had note cards telling him which reporters to call on and what to say, or any of a thousand other things that made it clear that he was as sharp as a baseball bat, and the media denounced anyone calling it out. 

He was still sharp, they told us. His staffers can't keep up with him, they said. They ran these claims uncritically, never questioning the narrative, and it wasn't until it was clear for all to see that they started........
