It's Morning Again in America

In his 1984 reelection campaign, President Ronald Reagan unveiled an unforgettable commercial titled “It’s Morning Again in America.” It summarized the economic success of the Reagan administration in lowering inflation and interest rates, creating new jobs, expanding home ownership, and creating a better future for young couples. The narrator concluded by noting America is “Prouder and stronger, and better,” and asking, “Why would we ever want to return to where we were?”

Reagan was initially elected in 1980 after the disastrous administration of President Jimmy Carter. In his first term, Reagan rebuilt the economy, restored our military greatness, and made Americans proud of their country again. For his many achievements, voters rewarded Reagan with a 49-state landslide victory.

After the four-year nightmare of Carter, America experienced “morning again” under Reagan. Similarly, Americans faced another four-year nightmare during President Joe Biden’s calamitous administration. He delivered to Americans an open border, a horrible economy, unworkable “climate change” policies, draconian COVID mandates, a weak foreign policy and a military unable to meet recruitment goals.

When President Donald Trump was elected in November of 2024, he inherited a “mess.” Incredibly, in less than one year, it is “morning again” in America. The Trump administration has delivered amazing results, despite the challenges provided by the intractable Deep State, progressive judges and special interest groups, a left-wing media, and a razor-thin GOP congressional majority.

For our national security, President Trump has announced plans for the rebuilding of our navy with the “Golden Fleet” of battleships and the creation of a first-class missile defense program labeled the “Golden Dome.”
