The AP has come out with a new call for the banning of firearms, but this one takes a decidedly strange turn. Our dismay prevents us from exploring this one too deeply.

First, bear in mind what the primary argument we hear from gun grabbers anytime the 2nd Amendment is thrown in their faces. They just LOVE to declare that the founders only meant that right to be applied to the guns of their era, not for the “weapons of war” that citizens can own today. (Of course, they choose to ignore the counterargument, that the founders intended the 1st Amendment to only apply to pamphlets and soapbox speeches, so any lecture they have on electronic media means they should shut up!)

Well, the AP has curiously come out with the latest gun-nabbing lecture and they now say even those revolutionary-era guns need to be banned. What leads to this thinking will forever be a mystery.
