Alex Johnston, a standout player for East Greenbush softball, will compete at the MLB World Series in the finals of the Pitch, Hit & Run competition sponsored by Little League. She earned the all-expense paid trip by winning regionals on Aug. 25, 2024, during the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pa.
