It was a cool, sunny fall day when I unloaded my mountain bike at the Wheelerville trails just outside Caroga Lake. A visit to Wheelerville had been on my list for a long time and I wondered if it could live up to out-sized expectations.
First opened in 2020, Wheelerville has more than nine miles of trails, but the town of Caroga Lake has ambitious plans to expand that number.

There are two entrances to Wheelerville, one is a jump park with ramps and other features, while the other entrance is a portal to Wheelerville’s main trail system.
