New Delhi: An average Indian whose income matches the country’s per capita can afford to purchase only 8 litres of petrol or diesel with their daily income, a figure that is the lowest among the 10 largest economies of the world. On the other hand, an average US citizen can afford to purchase 199 litres of petrol and 171 litres of diesel with their daily income, reported Times of India.
