Kafr Qasim residents fume over ‘Fauda’ production’s gunfire sounds amid crime wave

Streets in the central Arab town of Kafr Qasim have turned into a film set for the latest installment of the Israeli action drama “Fauda,” leaving many residents irked by the sounds of explosions and gunfire.

A resident living “far from the filming location,” told Channel 13 news that it sounds “as if it is next to me.”

“My children are scared and unable to sleep or study,” he said.

The sounds of gunfire bothered some residents due to the surge in violence in Arab communities in recent years, driven largely by organized crime.
