Model Michael Lewis slipped and fell down a 15-meter-high (50-feet) waterfall in recent days while filming a campaign for the Tourism Ministry in the Seychelles.

Lewis was hurt and required surgery in a local hospital. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed.

He was later flown back to Israel and underwent surgery on his hand, which was reported to have been crushed in the fall.

Channel 12 reported Lewis is expected to need some physical therapy to recover from his ordeal.
