A senior doctor was arrested Monday on suspicion of carrying out an indecent act outside a preschool.
According to police, the man is suspected of “touching his genitals while in his car next to a preschool.”
The 55-year-old doctor is a resident of Haifa, where he is employed by the city’s Rambam Medical Center, according to Hebrew-language media reports.
Police said they’d opened an investigation. The man was arrested a few hours after the alleged act and will appear before the Haifa’s Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Last year, Oren Hananaiev, a nurse working at Rambam Medical Center, was charged on suspicion of taking intimate photos of patients — including a minor — and possessing pedophilic materials.
He was found to possess thousands of pedophilic photographs and videos, some of which he is accused of sending to Daniel Yaakov, who worked at Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan.
