Israel will move toward summer overnight Thursday-Friday, with clocks jumping forward one hour, from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m., marking the start of daylight saving time.

Daylight saving time will end on October 29, 2023.

Israel makes the move some two weeks after the US, where most locations changed the clocks on March 10.

Due to the clock change, the sun will rise at a later hour in the morning than it did during standard time but it will set an hour later too.
