People ask me sometimes: what do you want for Iran?

I pause. Not because I don’t have an answer. But because the honest answer is complicated  and complicated answers make people uncomfortable.

I want Iran to be free. Of course I do. I left everything behind because I refused to live under a regime that treats its own people like enemies.
