A survey conducted by AtlasIntel, commissioned by StandWithUs Brazil between February 11 and 28, 2026, reveals a complex and ambivalent picture of Brazilian society’s perception regarding hate speech, prejudice, Jews, Israel, and Zionism.
Among the indicators analyzed, one stands out as particularly revealing of latent prejudice: while 70% of respondents said they would feel completely comfortable having a Jewish friend — a majority figure, but one that still exposes resistance among part of society — this percentage drops significantly to 50% among those who identify with the political left.
