Ideals, Inversions, & Reality
In a recent interview by Israeli channel N13, Tucker Carlson sneeringly cosplayed a Christian preacher from his pulpit in Woodstock, Maine. He admonished the Israeli interviewer with “Thou Shalt not Kill” of the Hebrew Ten Commandments, to mock him. Tucker was grinning ear to ear at the magnificent role he suddenly landed without more pushback. Ironically, this parody played out just before Shavuot, the Jewish celebration of the reception of these Ten Commandments by Moses on Mount Sinai.
First, concrete reality cannot be wished away. Israel is a tiny arid country devoid of oil, surrounded by an oil-wealthy Islamic Arab states hostile to its existence, despite a few conciliatory treaties. During World War II, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin Al-Husseini, toured Auschwitz and collaborated with Hitler, hoping to annihilate the half million Jewish population in the Holy Land. Israel nevertheless survived targeting by a 59-nation Islamic bloc, which has fed billions into the inverted lies undermining, excluding, and demonizing it via UN agencies. These agencies have been dedicated to recognizing, financing, & miseducating the multiplying descendants of the half million refugees of a supposedly “ethnically cleansed” pre-1949 “indigenous Palestine” which had never existed. Yet the Islamic bloc, the UN and its agencies, and the EU – still operate as if this pretense had always been valid. Despite this historical error, 160,000 Muslim Arabs never left the fledgling Israel in 1949, then composing 20% of the state’s population, and many have thrived, becoming pharmacists, doctors, lawyers, judges, and parliamentary members.
In contrast, most of the world had barred Jewish immigrants, including the US – before, during, and after, World War II. In 1939, 66% of Americans had opposed a bill to rescue 20,000 Jewish children escaping Nazi Germany. Subsequently, 1.5 million Jewish........
