At its latest session, the Knesset’s National Security Committee addressed the threat posed by the Muslim Brotherhood in the Palestinian territories. Committee Chairman MK Zvika Fogel voiced concern over how post-war plans for Gaza are being developed and warned that the Israeli government does not appear to take the issue seriously enough.

Fogel highlighted that, while countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, France, and the United States have officially designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, Israel has yet to turn this recognition into concrete measures.
