Team India has done it once again and in style. The T20 World Cup trophy is safely at home as the ‘men in blue’ beat New Zealand in the finals by 96 runs to lift the trophy. India were always the favourite, but as they say, cricket is the game of glorious uncertainties; nothing could be said till the last over is bowled. India also broke the jinx that no country lifts it twice in a row. India’s spectacular triumph in the T20 World Cup will be remembered for some memorable performances.
