Rewriting the Moon Mission legacy

Neil Armstrong, the first human being to touch the moon, said: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” It was on July 20, 1969, when man set foot on the Moon for the first time.  It was a giant leap indeed, as many Moon missions followed, but somewhere down the line, man lost interest in the Moon and strived for bigger challenges, such as the Mars mission, probes farther into the solar system. However, the Moon remains on the horizon, and its explorations continued, but man-missions to the Moon were not planned. That was perhaps the need to show that space supremacy was not there, as the Apollo moon mission was America’s way of telling the Russians that they had an edge in space.  But now there is renewed vigour to........
