KP Governor Kundi questions talks with groups rejecting Constitution |
PESHAWAR – Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has said that negotiations cannot be held with those who do not accept Pakistan and the principles of the Constitution.
Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, Governor Kundi said that all stakeholders must work together to establish law and order in the province. He added that steps are being taken to address the issues of internally displaced persons (IDPs), while law enforcement agencies are making serious efforts to restore peace.
He stated that Afghan soil is being used in terrorist incidents and that Afghan nationals have been found involved in some attacks.
Pakistan, he said, has provided clear evidence of terrorism to the Afghan government. However, he termed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister’s demand to go across the border........
