Calum Miller, MP for Bicester and Woodstock, writes his first column for the Bicester Advertiser.
It has been a privilege to serve as your MP over the last sixteen months.
I am grateful to everyone who has shared their views and experience with me.
Sometimes people start those conversations with “I voted for you…” – and sometimes they start them with “I didn’t vote for you…”.
My job is to represent everyone in our area, so you are very welcome to talk to me, or seek my help, however you voted!
One of the biggest issues people raise with me is the level of development proposed for our area.
As well as new employment sites, thousands of homes are already planned.
Some have been held up by the underfunding of new road connections – like the redirection of Howes Lane.
