Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and senior Air Force officials both told Congress that the Pentagon sought to raise the number of planned sixth-generation stealth bombers.

The US Air Force will decide how many B-21 Raider strategic bombers to buy next year. 

Although the Air Force has not yet decided on a specific number of B-21s, it is very likely to be more than 100 of the sixth-generation stealth bombers.
