The geopolitics of the Middle East have historically resembled a fault line where regional ambitions and global power dynamics frequently collide. At the heart of this enduring volatility lies the Palestinian issue, a core question of self-determination, human rights, and sovereign statehood. For decades, Pakistan’s stance on Palestine has not merely been a matter of reactionary foreign policy; it has remained firmly anchored in the immutable principles of international law, justice, and the definitive resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Pakistan has repeatedly and clearly emphasised that a durable, long-term peace in the Middle East cannot be achieved without a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian crisis. Temporary ceasefires and economic pacts that bypass the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people are akin to treating a deep wound with a superficial bandage.
