Biden's presidency will likely be similar to Obama's

Barring an unprecedented legal shock, Biden will become president of the United States on Jan. 20. What will a Biden presidency look like?

Biden ran on the idea that he's not Trump and he will bring America back to the pre-Trump years. And seeing how Biden's early cabinet picks already overlap Obama's, it's fair to assume that a Biden presidency will resemble Obama's in some key areas.

Obama took over from George W. Bush with the U.S. embroiled in two messy and unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. By the time Obama left office in 2016, the U.S. was still engaged in those two disastrous wars and had been bombing five additional countries daily: Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan.
