As long as technology has been around, it has been used by men to degrade women.

Some man somewhere will find a way to sexualise a woman, whether it’s a cartoon they drew on a wall or an actual person in a silent movie almost 100 years ago.

It’s important to remember that women sexualising themselves is frowned upon. It’s only sexy when it’s not consensual or they’re oblivious to it.

This is the same reason some men call porn stars “whores” or believe they are unworthy, despite supporting their work avidly.
