Why Gen Z and millennials might ask for your credit score on a date
(NewsNation) — Recent studies suggest younger Americans are paying close attention to their prospective partner’s finances in the dating world, and in some instances, faking financial situations to find love.
A recent survey from the dating app Hily of more than 2,000 Gen Z and millennial daters in the U.S. found that nearly one-third said that learning someone has an excellent credit score makes them more attractive.
The findings also showed that roughly 20 percent of Gen Zers and about 25 percent of millennials believe dating apps should allow users to filter potential matches by credit score.
