Former Chick-fil-A worker charged with stealing $80K in fake mac-and-cheese refund scheme

(NewsNation) — A former Texas Chick-fil-A employee accused of funneling more than $80,000 in fraudulent refunds to his personal credit cards following his termination is facing multiple felony charges.

Keyshun Jones allegedly began the scheme in November 2025 at a location in Grapevine, Texas, after the restaurant’s owner reported a theft, according to the Grapevine Police Department.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage that showed Jones, who had been fired about a month earlier, standing behind the counter without authorization. Police said Jones created roughly 800 fake........
