US bombs radar, drone sites in Iran
The U.S. military over the weekend struck radar and drone sites in Iran, U.S. Central Command (Centcom) said late Sunday.
“U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted self-defense strikes on Iranian radar and command and control sites for drones in Goruk, Iran and Qeshm Island this weekend,” Centcom said in a post on the social platform X.
“The measured and deliberate strikes occurred on Saturday and Sunday in response to aggressive Iranian actions that included the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 drone that was operating over international waters.”
