O’Reilly: Newark ICE protests likely won’t have ‘any effect’ on DHS

Political commentator Bill O’Reilly said Monday that the protests at an immigration detention facility in Newark, N.J., likely will not have “any effect” on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“It’s different in the sense that it’s better organized than Minneapolis, where the protesters were largely local and were running around thinking that they could make some kind of difference interfering with active [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] ICE investigations, and two of them wound up dead,” O’Reilly told NewsNation’s Leland Vittert on “On Balance.”

“This, as you pointed out, was a contrived situation out of Portland, Oregon, perhaps the most radical city in the country now, and they bus these people across the country and they house them and they feed them and their orders are, ‘Disrupt,’” he continued. “And I don’t believe this will have any effect........
