Central Command: Iran attack on Kuwait an ‘egregious ceasefire violation’

U.S. Central Command (Centcom) early Thursday accused Iran of violating the temporary ceasefire with a ballistic missile attack aimed at Kuwait.

“At 10:17 p.m. ET on May 27, Iran launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait that was successfully intercepted by Kuwaiti forces,” Centcom said in an early Thursday post on the social platform X.
