Striking Boeing machinists are set to vote Monday on a new agreement that could bring an over 7-week-long strike to its end.

The International Association of Machinists (IAM), which represents the roughly 33,000 machinists, announced earlier this week its endorsement for the tentative contract.

"Your Union is endorsing and recommending the latest IAM/Boeing Contract Proposal. It is time for our Members to lock in these gains and confidently declare victory," the union wrote Thursday in a post on social platform X. "We believe asking members to stay on strike longer wouldn't be right as we have achieved so much........
