Kevin O’Leary destroys Gen Z: Stop spending $28 on lunch!
“Shark Tank’s” Kevin O’Leary is a commentator near and dear to my heart. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard him say something I disagree with. And this week was no exception, with two different Kevin O’Leary clips going viral in which he gave advice to Gen Z — and he was right both times. Let’s watch the first one, which concerned young people’s willingness to pay $28 for lunch.
He’s absolutely correct. Kids, you do not need to spend $28 on lunch. And yes, I’m fully aware that if you go to a fast-food place, that’s what it costs, and if you go to a restaurant, it costs even more. But here’s the thing: You can just buy groceries, and make lunch. A peanut butter jelly sandwich or a Caesar salad or grilled cheese or a turkey club … you can spend like $50 a month if you just make them yourself. It doesn’t take much time or effort, it just takes a little bit of discipline and some forethought.
