James Talarico bashed the American flag! Wrong for Texas? 

Ken Paxton is officially the Republican candidate for Senate in Texas, which means we now turn to the general election, where he is facing off against Democrat James Talarico.  

We keep being assured by the mainstream media that Talarico is a different kind of Dem, a likable moderate who will be able to win in Texas. And if you haven’t heard Talarico speak, I see why this notion would have a certain amount of logic. He’s a white guy, he is a Christian with a theological background, he’s previously been elected in the state, etc.  

But then you hear the words that are coming out of his mouth, and you get a very different impression. This clip went viral on X this week, from 2019.  

Uh oh. Talarico just dissed the American flag!  

It’s one thing to speak out against the Confederate flag, but shouldn’t all Americans celebrate the symbol of our great nation? Just as Christians recognize the cross as a symbol of Jesus Christ, who is lord and savior?
