Death Valley experiencing greatest superbloom in 10 years
(NewsNation) — When most people think of Death Valley, flowers and beauty aren’t the first things that come to mind.
That hasn’t been the case recently.
The area, notorious for being the hottest and driest place in North America, has come to life with its best superbloom of wildflowers in a decade. The National Park Service says the low-elevation flowers are blooming throughout the park and will likely persist till the middle of March, depending on the weather. The higher-elevation flowers will have blooms next month through June.
