Trump says red line of ending Iran ceasefire will be discussed

President Trump said Tuesday that he would be discussing a red line to end the ceasefire with Iran after dismissing the country’s latest counteroffer earlier this week.

“We’ll be thinking about it on the flight,” he told reporters before departing for his trip to China. “We’ll be thinking about it for the next little while.”

Trump reiterated that the U.S. has “beaten” Iran’s military “very soundly.”

“The blockade is very effective; it’s been 100 percent effective, and one way or the other it’s going to work out very well,” he said.
