Oz addresses questions about Trump’s frequent visits to doctor: It’s ‘a routine, regular exam’

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Mehmet Oz on Tuesday sidestepped questions at the White House press breifing about why President Trump has had so many doctor visits during his second term, saying Trump’s most recent trip was standard.

Oz said he spoke with Trump about his visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last week and said it’s just “a routine, regular exam.”

“I had the president on my show 10 years ago, and he also presented records, and at the time I was stunned at how well he was doing, because so many of these numbers naturally over time will start going in the wrong direction,” said Oz, who used to host “The Dr. Oz Show.”

The administrator said Trump’s medical results are “spectacular.”

“That amount of energy and that amount of mental acuity does not exist in a vacuum,” he said. “You have to have a vessel to carry it, and the president has unique ability to just keep........
