Kash Patel abusing his position to live VIP lifestyle
Kash Patel is reportedly using public office like a VIP lifestyle package, based on new reporting from The New York Times.
Now, if you’ve watched me before, you already know I’m not exactly a Kash Patel fan. But this isn’t about personality politics. This is about judgment, ethics and respect for the office he holds.
According to the Times, citing flight records, Freedom of Information Act documents, and interviews with more than a dozen current and former FBI and law enforcement officials, Patel has repeatedly mixed official business with leisure trips, luxury perks and travel involving his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins. And even some people inside law enforcement are raising alarms.
One of the most stunning examples? Patel reportedly joined a “V.I.P. snorkel” excursion near the USS Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor. You know, one of the military’s most sacred sites, where more than 900 sailors and Marines remain entombed underwater. Navy SEALs reportedly escorted Patel and nine others by boat for the swim.
